Horse People
Horse people are a special group. If you are one or know one, you totally understand what I am talking about. I've been both.
I just wanted to let anyone coming here to this site, that if you are traveling through the area (IH-35 Corridor between Laredo and San Antonio) that you are more than welcome to stop over with your horse. I currently have plenty of grass, so staking out your precious equine is okay with me. Please make sure that your horse is up to date on their vaccinations. I'd hate for someone to infect another's horse, or my donkey. Though my donkey has had his vaccinations. If you are bringing your horse with you, please make sure you bring a copy of your vaccinations and a vet's name and number. If you plan ahead, this info can be emailed or faxed to me along with your reservation information. Current RV price with a horse is $25 a night.
Hope to see you soon!

RV Prices and more
Created a flyer and handed out at a local event. I consider myself officially open for tent camping, and if any RVers want to risk pulling off into the grass, I am game. Hoping that my truck will be fixed in two weeks, then I will go pick up a load of mulch for the RV parking pads.
Tent camp sites are $10 a night
RV sites are $20, this is just a place to park, generators welcome.
Pets, on leash, will be welcome.
Reservations can be made by contacting me at 210-464-4517 or by posting a comment to this blog. I check it every day, and if you leave an email or phone number I will contact you back with a confirmation. To pay for reservations ahead of time, I accept Pay Pal. All other can pay cash upon arrival. Please have exact change, as often the gate is not manned, and funds will need to be placed in the drop box. No checks or credit cards at this time. If you need to use a credit card, Pay Pal is your best option at this time. Thanks!

I've been doing a lot of research, reading RV online newsletters, working on signage, checking into commercial liability insurance, and pricing gravel as opposed to using mulch for driving pads for the RVs. I have selected five spots along the driveway, separated by bushes/trees for privacy. I've also researched the price of picnic tables, and designated (in my mind) tent camping area.

Welcome!
Welcome to Ghosthill! You are officially part of a new venture I am hoping to undertake by opening a Level 1 RV Park on our land. This is hopefully one of the Lord's answers to supporting myself and my kids, due to an upcoming divorce.
Basically from my research a Level 1 RV park is one that provides bare minimum. A place to park for the night and basically that is it.
In the next few days I'll be researching the cost of gravel to at least have a small roadway and pads for the RVs. I plan to put gravel down for 2-3 at first. I will also be looking at the cost of a couple of picnic tables, signage and minimal advertising for the moment.
I will be able to offer one spot with electricity and potable water to fill tanks, but no dump station. I hope to get the pond cleared up, and offer fishing access, as well as, look into a petting zoo permit. I have the goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, and will look into getting some little sheep and pygmy goats.
I plan to charge $20 a night, and have been brainstorming with a friend who is an avid RVer.
Check back for pictures and more chronicles of my journey into this new venture, IF it is the Lord's will for my life at this moment in time.
